We will be led by a local tour guide who will explain about the history of the lake and its towns. Admire the views towards three dormant volcanoes (Atitlan, Tolimán and San Pedro). Take a boat to visit two of the most beautiful towns surrounding the lake. Meet local artisans and watch them practice their work, dig through the most beautiful rug collection, try fresh cooked tortillas and learn so much from vast indigenous culture.

Atitlan is a Lake nestled amongst volcanoes and is known as one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. It is one of the most serenely picturesque lakes with lakeside villages, sparkling waters and filled with colorful textiles.

What to Wear:
Lake Atitlan is an altitude lake and this is why the sunrays feel stronger. Be sure to bring a hat and sunscreen. Even though the weather might be perfect, it gets a bit chilly on the boat. Make sure to bring a long sleave shirt for the boat transfer. Also, it might be difficult to find cash ATMs in the towns, bring enough cash for your shopping.
